Rockers Deluxe surfboards

This is a new project coming out of the North of England brought to you by longboard aficionado and generally good guy Ed Mohawk, in connection with Secret Spot surf shop in Scarborough (as far as I know anyway;) Rockers Deluxe is a collection of handshapped, retro/modern surfboards inspired by rat rods, Rollins, Dora and general surf nostalgia, which is pretty obvious from one look at them.

Even though I’ve always been a fan of the subtle, restrained aesthetic of companies such as Almond and SaturdaysNYC, I have got rather sick of their style being ripped off by every other surf shop and start up surf brand over the past 5 years or so. (I think I’m fine if I don’t see another anchor or san serif logo for a long while). Therefore these boards are rather palette cleansing and about as subtle as being hit round the head by Lemmys Rickenbacker bass, which is a good thing, btw;). Check them out here.
